Educational Lectures and Artist Talks
Steve speaks to groups at schools, museums, and corporations. Topics include: the Four Tribes of Nebraska, Traditional Native Games, Artifact Conservation and Preservation, Lakota Star Knowledge, Winter Counts, and other topics related to history, culture and art of the Plains Indians. Topics can be tailored to your interests

Cultural Training and Consulting
Nicole Benegas and Susan Trinkle work with organizations and businesses to develop a workplace culture that is culturally considerate to all populations. Group training, workshops, and a "sensitivity scan" is available for your promotional items such as websites, brochures, and print media.


Workshops
Workshops can be arranged for groups of up to 10 people for three hours up to several days. Participants learn historical processes and have the opportunity to make moccasins, hand-drums, rawhide containers, brain-tanned hides, painted tipis, quillwork, beadwork, featherwork, and other regalia.

Nebraska Arts Council Grants
Steve is on the Nebraska Arts Council Artists in Schools and Communities roster. Visit https://www.artscouncil.nebraska.gov/grants/grant-categories/virtual-aisc.html for information about NAC grants for funding workshops or residency. Residencies are usually 20 hours over a period of two weeks and may be partially funded by the Nebraska Arts Council. Eligible organizations include schools and other federally tax-exempt, public agencies.
